What I Do Not Work With

My work is deeply embedded in psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral and existential psychology, and I am skilled at working with depth and complex, challenging, processes. Equally so I am clear in identifying when to lean on the expertise of other professionals; Falling into the scope of clinical psychology and/ or psychiatry, I do not work with the below:

  • Learning disorders. Intellectual disability. Amnesia. Neurocognitive degeneration or neurocognitive disorders. Autism.

​​

  • Psychosomatic disorders. Sleep wake disorder. Parasomnias. Narcolepsy. â€‹Bipolar disorder, postpartum, chemical and complex clinical depression. Abnormal clinical anxiety. Impulse control disorder. Disruptive and conduct disorder. Obsessive-compulsive disorder. Gender dysphoria. Dissociative disorders.

  • Anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and binge-eating disorder. Cutting and other forms of self abuse. Post suicide attempt recovery. Drug and alcohol addiction.

  • Maladjusted personalities. Difficulty transitioning to adulthood.

​​

  • Aggression, abuse, child neglect, and similar behavioural patterns.

​

  • Paranoia, psychosis and schizophrenia. Sociopathy, abnormal narcissism, and psychopathy. Delusional disorder.

  • Voyeuristic, exhibitionistic, sadistic and fetishistic disordera. Histrionic personality disorder.

  • Forensic psychology.
